I used this book as a complement for the general chemistry course I took many years ago. It` s excellent as it has a lot of interesting problems To study theory you will have the text that your professor will recommend you.

I purchased this Schaum's to review College Chemistry that I took over 20 years ago. All I can say is that it is poorly written, fails to explain the theory and formulas that support a concept, and makes unfounded assumptions about your knowledge as it progresses.

No, I'm not going to make the usual silly complaint that people make when they buy a Schaum's Outline: that it's not comprehensive. Of course it's not: it's just an outline.
