Identity Is Destiny

A must read for those interested in identity, leadership, excellence and branding. I loved the book.

Identity as Destiny embraces organizational identity, personality, and being as more than metaphor. The Critical Realist tradition as exemplified by Margaret Archer could lead to similar conclusions, but this book works more at an experiential level that one can relate to, as opposed to philosophical or sociological theory.

Laurence Ackerman wrote a brilliant book entitled Identity is Destiny. The book is about the importance of identity to organizations.
